Because the shower was not properly cleaned, I found hair in it & once I started to shower, I found the tub, shower walls, & handicap hand bar slippery & very slick (as if they sprayed it & didn't rinse it). I slipped & fell upside down out of the shower while it was running onto the hard tile floor & was in pain all night.

What a great getaway!!! We stayed 1 night to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the hotel staff went above and beyond. We were upgraded to a Suite (very quaint and quiet), they surprised us with a very nice anniversary card and a bucket of chocolates (all kinds of dark and milk, truffles, kisses, Reese’s piece s,, etc). It was amazing. Every time we walked pass the lobby, any staff member would say “happy anniversary “. What a great team of people working and managing this property!!

We were unaware the hotel was under renovations as it wasn't mentioned at time of booking. It didn't really hinder our stay though. This hotel looks very tired starting right away with the elevator. Our room could have been a lot cleaner it didn't appear to be vacuumed well. The furnishings looked "tired" as did the bathroom. The Keurig coffee machine was dust laden. There was a lot of dirt accumulated in the bathroom corners, the bathtub was stained and the blow dryer was broken. Staff promptly brought a replacement. Surprisingly the beds were comfortable. Staff was very pleasant to deal with. Overall, I would not recommend this property, this may be why they are undergoing renovations. It looks very tired. We have stayed at many other Holiday Inn Express locations and this was the worst we have been at.

I was cautious about staying here because of recent reviews. But price and location were good. Front desk was efficient and courteous. I checked the room immediately for cleanliness and features. All seemed OK. Upholstered chair is worn and dingy, and bath showed wear and need of updating, but was acceptable. Halls were being painted and lobby was under construction, but breakfast area looked refurbished. All the usual HIX breakfast items were there and well presented. WiFi was consistent. So all in all it was a good experience. We were in a ground floor king room.

Would definitely stay again, staff was very friendly and welcoming. Room was comfortable, breakfast was good, pool area was very nice. Overall experience was good. Pamphlets available for experiences and adventures to take.

I called to reserve a double joining room, was told absolutely can help you with that. We confirmed where I was going, we booked the joining rooms for one night 2 adults 2 children. I asked several times if we would have the joining rooms upon arrival. This was our only request for this trip. We were arrived, to our disbelief and very disappointed they don't even have double rooms at this hotel. We didn't want to lose our money, so I ended up spended double on another room entirely. We should've left , it was very dirty, run down, bathtub had cracks in the tiles. Not a happy experience for my granddaughters birthday getaway

Where do I start? Check in was slow. After we received our room key we went to our room. I opened the door to a woman guest coming out of the bathroom. They gave me a key to an inhabited room. I informed the front desk I did not want a roommate. I told them I hope i have better security in my new room I wanted to find things in the hotel and there was no information about anything here. No paper work or signs. I needed ice and the nearest ice machine was gone. all carpets in hall and stairwells were littered with loose plastered as photo shows. I only found one soda machine operational. We watch certain tv channels on Saturday night. I inquired before we got there about tv channels. front desk had no clue even what company they use. We could only turn the tv on and watch the channel guide scroll until we found anything acceptable and not what we wanted. I asked at front desk . they gave me a different remote that did not work at all. The bureau in our room was dangerous. The draws would not stay closed. My wife banged her knee in the middle of night. She has mobility issues and that made things worse. That brings me to a major flaw. Website says pool is ADA compliant. See photo and let me know if 3 stairs and no hadrail is compliant. I found a side ramp by accident no signs. Unfortunately the door was locked. It was extremely difficult for my wife. A person I believe was maintenance said it was not his fault and started mouthing off. We were not very happy as everything was too difficult.I reached out to Hollidy Inn customer service with my experience. After manny "sorrys" Ishe said she would look into things especially ADA compliance. Tjhat is against the law. She would also credited us with 15000 reward points. We didn't get that either. We travel a lot I would definitely not recommend Holliday Inn. Poos execution of duties at all ends. In my first review from Holiday Inn I mentioned these problems with a request to answer them on the phone. That never happened either.
