Bad smell from lobby to room.
Front desk was friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was a nightmare, too crowded, the dining room was a sauna, dinning staff not friendly or efficient as a 9:00 trays were empty. Empty coffee, gravy, and empty biscuit trays. When I asked dining staff if they were going to refill they seemed annoyed and looked at me but with no response. When biscuits arrived there was no tong and kids were using their hands. The refrigerated milk was lukewarm. It was so hot in dining room had to eat breakfast on bench out front. TV remote has tons of buttons, numbers/letters were rubbed off, never got it to play said, "no signal". Light fixture in bath was brown with rust.
Only good thing was bed a comfy and front desk was friendly.

Yes, I recommend this property.
We loved the location - right across the street from the beach. Our room was comfortable and the breakfast was great! Our room had lots of room and an outside door with a balcony. The pool looked inviting.

Yes, I recommend this property.
The man at the front desk was beyond lovely, always smiling and helpful. The cleaning staff replenished towels/wash cloths and changed trash in a timely/ friendly manner. The all inclusive breakfast is by far the best with tons of choices for all diets. I especially love the egg and cheese omelets. My room was large and accommodated my party perfectly. Another Awesome stay at Holiday Inn. Thanks.

After driving 10 hrs in a car to stay the night before my cruise and paying 225.00 for a room I was unable to relax and rest. The room floor felt so uneven I thought I was on a hill. The tiles were warped and sand all create place. The pullout coach mattress looked like it hadn’t been replaced in over a decade. The shower started growing mold. When I spoke to the front desk they seemed to not care. At that point It was 10 o’clock at night and my 7 years old was so tired. We decided to toughen it out and blow up our air mattress.
I understand it’s an older hotel but not for the price I paid especially for the dirtiness.

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience with us. I would like to extend our sincerest apologies for the inconveniences you and your family experienced during your stay.
After a long 10-hour drive, the last thing anyone should have to deal with is a room that doesn't meet expectations — especially when you're trying to rest before a big trip. I'm truly sorry that the condition of the room, including the uneven flooring, warped tiles, sand, and the condition of the pullout sofa and shower, left you disappointed. I'm also very sorry to hear that your interaction with our front desk team didn’t meet the level of care and service we strive to provide.
Please know that I have personally spoken with our General Manager regarding the issues you brought to our attention, and we are actively addressing them. I also want to share that our hotel is about to begin renovations, and we are committed to making major improvements throughout the property.
We hope that once these renovations are complete, you’ll consider giving us another chance to provide you with the relaxing and enjoyable stay you deserved from the start. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and we truly appreciate your patience and honesty.

Room felt kind of dingey. There was mold in one of the paintings. Elevator was a little scary. Our keycards stopped working and housekeeping came the day before we were supposed to check-out, but we weren't given further information. It seems like they may have made a mistake about our check-out date. TV service was super out of date. Breakfast was not very good and there were extremely limited vegan/vegetarian options. Most staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, the facility is just older and has to contend with humidity being on the beach.
