I am not one to write bad reviews but for what we paid, this place was below a one star. The biggest issue was the beds. We almost left in the middle of the night because of how bad our bodies hurt from sleeping in the beds. We are both in our late 20s and I can’t imagine what these beds are like to people older than us. The room was really busted up. Stains on the curtains, wallpaper was peeling, the lamp shades were busted, and the beds did not have any comforters. It was only thin sheets. The bathroom had rust all in the sink and the bathtub. The room consisted of fluorescent and random warm white light bulbs. At night it felt like you were in an asylum almost lmao. The room was quite musty and I had a feeling I may get sick from it. However, we turned on the air for a minute to help out. All to then wake up in the middle of the night, sick as a dog. Front desk staff was not the most welcoming unfortunately. I could go on but I’ll assume you get the picture now. I personally travel a lot and this was my top worst hotel room I’ve ever stayed in.

Thank you for letting me know of your concerns. I would like to ask what room you were in while you were a guest with us. I was not able to find a reservation in our system with the name listed on this survey. I wan to be able to take a look at the room as well as address any issues with our housekeeping department. We are in the process of renovating our entire hotel. We have two floors left to renovate and then everything will be new. I do hope that you will give us another opportunity to serve you again in the future when you are back in town and enjoy a newly renovated room.

The staff was courteous and the hotel was clean. We had no complaints. The hotel is close to App State and local attractions. I would certainly return to this location.

There are a number of things I could say but let me tell you about the plunger.
My toilet got stopped up and I went to call the front desk but no phone in the room. So I was like I'll walk down and tell them when I get breakfast. I walk past the cleaning crew and go down to the front desk. Tell them my toilet is stopped up. The girl said, I'll get you a plunger. I was like surely she means she os sending someone woth a plunger to my room... 5 hours later I come back and the toilet is still stopped up.
I go back up to the front desk and say, hey my toilet is still stopped up. She tells me she got the plunger but I walked away. I was like you wanted me to take the plunger to my room and plunger the toilet? She said she was the ONLY one working all day. So needing the toilet, I carry the plunger to my room and pass the cleaning crew on the way and plunger my toilet.

Could not get up graded for paying 3rd party, no refrigerator or microwave in room. The breakfast and coffee was a good choice to have. Coffee all day was provided. TV had some problems with viewing because of the transmission.

The property is being renovated but the staff did an excellent job not letting it interfere with our stay. The two ladies in charge of the breakfast area were most helpful and extremely kind. The front made changes as needed after we experienced a death in the family and had to cut our visit short.
