Driving from Colorado to Oklahoma to say goodbye to my brother-in-law who is in hospice care in Oklahoma. The hotel is comfortable and quiet and a good place to rest after a long day of driving. Front desk agents were wonderful.

We travel the stretch from Denver to Austin quite frequently to visit family. We have stayed at different hotels along the way, but we were pleasantly surprised with this Holiday Inn. It is very clean, breakfast was better than normal and the bed was super comfy! We will now stay at this Holiday Inn on a regular basis. Easy check in easy check out!

No, I do not recommend this property.
We began staying at this hotel shortly after it was built and have always enjoyed our stay. However, this last visit was vastly disappointing. We checked in and were given room 120. We quickly realized that there was no hot water to that room and asked for another. While we were in room 120, we were dismayed at the deterioration of the room. There were several places that made the room very uncared for. We then moved to room 215 - which did have hot water - and this room did look better cared for but had issues; first, the safe was locked so we were unable to use it, and second, the window shade was broken and could be raised. The room 215 was adequate but not the quality that it had been. Also, it appeared that the hotel was understaffed. We saw people waiting to check in but there was no one at the front desk. We have really enjoyed our stays there in the past and sincerely hope that the problems can be remedied for the enjoyment of their guests. P.S. under this review there was a imbedded word "excellent" and a 5 score. That is not indicative of our but it seems I cannot change it on this form

By just stopping 38 miles earlier.This hotel has many more convenient restaurants and stores nearby.

We checked in after traveling all day and went to take a shower to go out for dinner. We had no hot water and had to take a cold shower. Blinds in room were torn and tile on bathroom floor was broken as well as trim around bathroom door all rusty. Stopped at the front desk to tell them and ask for a discount since we had no hot water. The two employees working at the desk were of no help and asked them to call the manager and wanted an answer when we came back from dinner. When we returned she said the manager did not call her back and she couldn't' help us but they had boiler problems. She never said that before so obviously had spoken to someone. She offered no compensation and said the manager is probably sleeping so that is why she didn't return the call. We were leaving early in the morning and she said the manager didn't come on until 7:00 a.m. We asked for a phone call from the manager and never received one. When we went to check out there was no one at the front desk so we ran the bell and a young employee who looked like he had been sleeping came out. It was pointless to ask him anything as he would not know anything either. Very disappointed in customer satisfaction with this hotel as we had just stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Lincoln NE and it was a great experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed here on our way to Arizona from MN and also on the way back home. We will definitely make this hotel our go to the next time we make the trip to Arizona. The room was clean each time and the pillows and bed were perfect. After a long 12-14 hour drive, a good nights sleep in a comfortable bed and quiet hotel is what you need. The hotel was full on our way to Arizona due to a snow and ice storm closing main roads. Even full it was quiet. The breakfast the next day was decent for a hotel and enough to get us going and back on the road. Thank you IHG and Holiday Inn Express Dalhart!
